European Civil Protection Forum

SILVANUS will present the platform in the EUFireProjectsUnited booth at the 8th European Civil Protection Forum in Brussels in June 2024.

The Forum aims to address key policy and operational questions, inspire future developments in the Union Civil Protection Mechanism (UCPM), and generate networks and opportunities for collaboration in the field of disaster risk management.

The event is organised biennially by the Directorate-General for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (ECHO), and is expected to bring together more than 1,000 stakeholders including governments, local, national, and regional civil protection authorities, first responders, EU institutions, the scientific community, and the private sector.

ISCRAM 2024: “Embracing the Crisis Management Lifecycle”

SILVANUS will be present at ISCRAM 2024, presenting the current results at the “Integrated Wildfire Risk Management” Track.

The conference follows a pracademic approach and will be jointly hosted by the ERCIS Competence Center for Crisis Management (C³M) at the University of Münster and the State Fire Service Institute North Rhine-Westphalia (IdF).

The conference theme takes a process-centric view on crisis management: “Embracing the Crisis Management Lifecycle”.
